The remains of late Madan Nwanyikwo Martina Chukwuma(Ugogbe Ezinaulo), have been buried in Nnewi, Anambra State.
Madam Martina Chukwuma, who died on Thursday, December 16, 2021, aged 101, was the mother of the two renowned Nnewi billionaire industrialists, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, owner of Gabros group of company and Chief Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Motors Ltd.
In his homily, at St Michael Catholic Church Nnewi, the ArchBishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev. Jonas-Benson Okoye, described the late matriarch as a staunch and dedicated Christian during her sojourn on earth and admonished those she left behind to follow in her footsteps and live uprightly.
The who’s who in Nigerian business, political and social circles, thronged Uruagu, Nnewi, Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State, to support the Chukwumas, as the remains of their beloved mother, was committed to mother earth.
Meanwhile, Thebladengr.com can report that friends, business associates, banks, individuals and others donated over 310 cows to the billionaire brothers towards the burial of their mother.
The cows were so many that a makeshift ranch was erected behind Innoson’s palatial residence to keep the animals.
