The remains of Chief Engr. Sir J.U. Asiegbu, father of veteran Nollywood actor and film maker, Ejike Asiegbu will be laid to rest on Friday May, 27th, 2022.
A statement signed by Ejike’s elder brother, Mr. Anaelechukwu Anthony Asiegbu, revealed that the funeral rites of the late Engr. Asiegbu will commence with a wake keep cum service of songs on Thursday May 26, 2022 at his compound, Umuihi-Umuogba, Ekeoba kingdom, Ohuhu in Umuahia North Local Government Area. Abia State.
His body will thereafter be laid to rest on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the same venue after a funeral service.
Chief Engr. Sir J. U. Asiegbu (Nna Oha) who died on January 15, 2022 at the age of 100, was the oldest man in Umuihi Umuogba Ekeoba community in Abia State.
He is survived by wife, children, and grand children.
