Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu on Tuesday, won the Abia South Senatorial primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The primaries, which was held at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba, was conducted by party officials led by a former Chairman of the PDP in the State, Pharmacist, Chief Ndidi Okereke and also had officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, present.
Ikpeazu who was the sole aspirant emerged unopposed with a total of 197 delegate votes.
