Popular Boxing promoter, Lagos socialite and politician, Mr. Dotun Olaribigbe, is dead.
Olaribigbe, popularly known as Lobito Disco, reportedly died on Thursday.
Lobito Disco was active on the social scene in the late 80s and 90s. He beefed up his game when he established Haridot Promotions in Surulere, an outfit which helped in furthering the careers of some Nigerian boxers at the time.
Olaribigbe later joined politics and contested for the chairmanship of Surulere Local Government Area in 2017 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In 2019, he vied for the Lagos Central senatorial seat under the Liberation Movement Party, LMP.
