All is now set for the Nollywood Film Festival Germany (NFFG) and its sister event Nollywood Europe Golden Award (NEGA), holding in Frankfurt, Germany. Already top Nollywood actors, movie producers, musicians, comedians and film and culture stakeholders from all over the world, have arrived for the much talked about event kicking off today, Friday 29th July, 2022. A PEEP INTO THE PROGRAMME
The 2022 Nollywood Film Festival Germany and Nollywood Europe Golden Awards, NFFG/NEGA, will open by 2pm today at the Filmforum Hochst Cinema. Emmerich-Joseph-str 46A 65929 Frankfurt am main. The opening ceremony will be completed in 30 minutes. It will be followed at 5.30pm with the premiere of “Gbege! The First Son Saga’ a Nigerian film, produced and directed by veteran filmmaker Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen.
‘Heroes of Africa’ a Ghanaian film is the second movie of the opening day. It will be screened by 7.30pm. The film is produced by Zion Train and directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin.
On the second day, the event will commence with film screening by 2pm. The film on parade will be ‘Son of Mercy’, from Nigeria. It is produced and directed by Amen Goodluck Imasuen.
The grand event-Nollywood Europe Golden Awards(NEGA Gala nite) and concert, will commence by 9pm on July 30th.
It will feature comedian Aproko, Nollywood stars and musicians-Emperor Wadada as well as Edo Sons of Legends. The grand event, will hold at the Saray Yurkuaz Hall, Ernst-Wissstr 20, 65933 Frankfurt A/M Germany.
ABOUT THE AWARDEES
This year’s NEGA, will see ten awards going to accomplished individuals in entertainment and various endeavours. One of the 2022 NEGA awardees, is Chief Zeb Ejiro(OON). Ejiro, will bag the ‘Life Time Achievement Award’, for his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the motion picture industry in Nigeria.
