The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, on Wednesday, announced that kidnapped actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Agbogidi have been released by their abductors.

A statement released by the body on its social media handles, revealed that the movie stars were released unhurt and in healthy conditions.
Another social media post by the National President of AGN, Mr. Emeka Rollas said the actors were already reunited with their families.
Both the AGN President and the official communication from the body, did not say if ransom was paid to secure the release of the actors.It would be recalled that their abductors had contacted their families, demanding $100,000 as ransom.
Clemson Agbogidi and Cynthia Okereke were kidnapped on Friday, July 29, while they were returning from a movie set at Ozalla town in Enugu State.
