Top banker and politician, Dr Victor Alewo Adoji will be a speaker at the 2022 WakaAbout Africa Annual FinTech Tour Lectures.
The event slated for 22nd of September 2022, in Lagos, will have the Executive Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Danbatta as Keynote speaker.
The event will also be graced by dignitaries including Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed (Special guest of honour), Dr Isah Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Samuel Aje, VC. Achievers Universityand Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika.
The theme of this year’s Lecture, “Unlocking Opportunities for Nigerian Businesses”, will focus on leveragable chances in existing partnerships between technology and financial institutions to seek recalibration for dwindling Businesses in Nigeria.

The guest speaker, Dr Victor Alewo Adoji, a renowned Economist, strategist, banker and consultant has been actively involved in the business of proffering solutions to economic woes in the country and beyond for decades.
Recently, the former Zenith Bank top management staff and development economist was in Rwanda where he discussed women inclusiveness in politics as panacea to Africa’s socioeconomic and political problems. He had at various times had economic and enterprise related lectures in Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa, United States of America and the United Kingdom to mention a few.
Victor Adoji is clearly a hybrid in terms of knowledge and experience across the private and public sectors of the economy. He has over two decades of active private sector engagement at both the corporate and personal enterprise levels and substantial public sector trainings and proficiencies. Dr. Adoji, holds doctorate degrees in economics, credit administration and business administration.
