+POLICE CONFIRM ATTACK
An aide to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Mr. Kanem Ogbonna has informed that the Senator would have been dead now but for his bulletproof SUV.
Ogbonna made this revelation on Monday morning while fielding questions on AIT KAKAAKI programme.
It will be recalled that the Senator was ambushed at Enugwu Ukwu on his way back from a function in Anambra State on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Anambra State police command has confirmed the attack of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah at Enugwu Ukwu on Sunday.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga in a statement said the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP Echeng Echeng has led operatives to the scene in Enugwu Ukwu.
DSP Ikenga said, “Though the details of the incident is still sketchy, operatives are on ground there as operations is going on and the situation is being monitored.”
