FAYEMI’S PARTING GIFT: FIRST AIRCRAFT LANDS AT EKITI STATE AIRPORT AS GOV. HANDS OVER TODAY

It was a dream come true on Saturday, as the first aircraft touched down on the newly built Ekiti State Agro Allied International Cargo Airport in Ado-Ekiti.

The airport which was commissioned on the day following the landing of the Nigerian Air Force jet, will see Gov. Kayode Fayemi who is due to hand over to a new administration today, leaving on a high note.

Throngs of enthusiastic citizens of Ekiti State, were on hand at the Airport, to witness the commissioning which was performed by the Minister of Aviation, Dr. Hadi Sirika.

Prominent personalities who attended the ceremony on Saturday included the Ekiti State deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi; Ekiti State First Lady, Erelu Bisi Fayemi; Chairman, CCECC Construction, and Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo.
