Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, Flamingoes on Wednesday, lost their semi-finals match to Colombia in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup holding in India. Colombia could not score in the first half despite piling much pressure as Nigeria’s goalie, Faith Omilana stood rock solid for Nigeria. Nigeria did not also utilise their chances in the second half. During the resultant penalties, the Colombian girls scored six while Nigeria managed to score five.
