Nigeria’s under-17 women, the Flamingos on Sunday, beat their German counterparts to win the bronze medal at the FIFA women world Cup in India.
The match ended 3-3 at regulation time which resulted into a penalty shootout.
While the Germans scored only two of their spot kicks, the Flamingos scored three to grab the bronze medal.
