The Guaranty Trust Fashion Weekend, the consumer-focused fair and free business platform designed to showcase the best of Africa’s Fashion to a global audience is ongoing in Lagos.
As expected,the event has been a beehive of activities which include fashion shows and several master classes. One of the resource persons, Ade Hassan spoke on “Carving Out your space in an established industry”.
Felicia Leatherwood spoke about “Nurturing Your Crown: Elevating Your Styles in-between Wigs and Weaves”. Melie Tiacoh, spoke on ‘Utilising a diverse heritage to promote equality and inclusivity in the modeling Industry’. Yolanda Blaize took her class down on “The Panoramic lens of global fashion sourcing and development: Turning product concepts into tangible merchandise”, while Toussaint King spoke on “How to Style Sneakers for a Fashion Forward Look”.
Also, Alice Temperly taught a Masterclass on “Honest and entertaining insights on the world of fashion”.
