It is manifestly clear to the blind and resoundingly loud to the deaf that former President Olusegun Obasanjo has no electoral value whatsoever. He has almost always lost his unit to other political parties! This only shows how serious or unserious he is taken by his people at home. In 2015, he did not endorse Buhari pointedly but Buhari won. In 2019, he endorsed Atiku but Buhari won.
Obasanjo attempted a 3rd term in office but failed woefully because Nigerians rejected him! In 2007, he endorsed Yar’adua whom he knew was terminally ill and Yar’adua struggled with death and eventually died in office. He never supported Jonathan because he was envious that Jonathan may surpass his (OBJ) record as Nigeria’s longest-serving democratically elected President. However, due to the intervention of the NASS with the “doctrine of necessity,” Jonathan became acting President to complete Yar’adua’s first tenure and later won his own first tenure in office, which OBJ did not support. We all remember how OBJ and others in PDP ensured that Jonathan failed to secure his second tenure in office because of the envious activities of characters like OBJ.
So, the man called Obasanjo is egocentric, suffering from a narcissistic personality disorder and would do everything to pulldown anyone he perceives as a threat to his so-called record in office, which was characterised by unprecedented sleaze and lawlessness. Obasanjo will either support a dying, terminally ill or a candidate he perceives would fail (e.g, Yar’adua, Atiku, Obi) so that he could have the opportunity to ridicule such persons thereafter. He recommended the same Peter Obi as Atiku’s running mate in 2919.
Obasanjo knows that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to win the February 25, 2023, Presidential election with the certainty of being the best democratically elected President in the historical trajectory of Nigeria in terms of performance, unprecedented innovation, participatory leadership, infrastructural revolution, economy-boosting and making Nigeria the best country in Africa and one of the best in the world. This is why he is against Tinubu!
Former Head of State and President, General (rtd) Olusegun Obasanjo is evil in every sense of the word but covers this up by always being abrasively sanctimonious and playing to the gallery of fools and only FOOLS! Fortunately, APC members and Nigerians of today are no fools‼️
