Alhaji Aliyu Maina, the Adamawa State gubernatorial candidate of the National Rescue Movement is dead.
Alhaji Maina died on Wednesday, the same day his Abia State counterpart, Uche Ikonne, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP died.
A statement from the family, said late Alhaji Abba Maina died on Wednesday, January 25 at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, after a brief illness.
The statement also said Alhaji Maina has been buried according to Islamic rites.
