OBASANJO WRITES BUHARI OVER PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, SAYS ‘NIGERIA IS IN DANGER’

Former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari, to prevail on the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu, to intervene in the election process and rectify the allegations raised against INEC from several quarters.

Obasanjo raised the alarm in a letter he authored on Monday.

According to Obasanjo,  “danger is lurking around the country over the alleged compromise of the ongoing election process”.

It will be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party have kicked against the collation of the Saturday February 25, election describing it as compromised.

Meanwhile, collation of results continue by 11am today at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.
