The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Pastor Umo Eno, the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Akwa Ibom State, as the winner of the March 18 governorship election.
Eno scored 354,348 to defeat Sen. Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), who came second with 136,262 votes and Akan Udofia of the All Progressives Congress came third with 129,602 votes.
