Music star, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as “Portable” was on Monday granted bail by a High Court sitting in Ifo, Ogun State.
Portable was arrested and detained in police custody on Friday, March 31, after an officer was injured following a clash with the police at his bar.
Portable, pleaded not guilty on all five counts bordering on assault before the court presided over by the chief magistrate, A.S Shoneye and was subsequently granted bail of N300,000 and N500,000. He was also mandated to produce two sureties who must reside within the jurisdiction of the honorable court.
The case has been adjourned to April 26 for the commencement of trial.
