The Abia State House of Assembly has impeached its Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji.
He was allegedly impeached after 18 members of the Assembly signed the impeachment document.
Although details of the sitting is sketchy as at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that Hon. Chukwudi Apugo (Umuahia East), had moved the motion for the impeachment and was seconded by Hon. Okey Igwe (PDP, Umunneochi).
Thebladengr.com learnt that he was replaced by Hon Chukwudi Apugo, member representing Umuahia East state constituency.
