Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci has broken the Guinness World Record for Longest Cooking time of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds set by Chef Lata Tondon in Rewa, India, in 2019.
Hilda who kick-started the competition last Thursday, May 11, at exactly 4pm, achieved the record breaking feat at about 7.50am on Monday.
Meanwhile, Hilda has cruised to a new record of over 90 hours and is aiming to reach a new record of 96 hours by the time she plans to quit at 4pm today.
The event, which is taking place at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos has seen many Nigerians gathering to cheer up the chef.
The cook-a-thon, is sponsored by GB Foods. Other sponsors include Arla Foods, BaigeWallet, Filmhouse, Jumbo, Uber and Woodscope.
