Although the remains of popular female Nollywood filmmaker, Chinwe Egwuagu, was buried on Friday, May 12, 2023 in Houston, USA, the family has picked Saturday May 27, 2023 as the official funeral in Nigeria.
According to an invitation card posted by a relation on social media, the event will hold at late Christian Egwuagu’s compound in Obinagu-Oronto village, Ukpo, in Dunukofia Local Government area of Anambra State.
The invitation card signed by Pastor Chikelu Egwuagu for the family, said visitations by friends, well wishers and inlaws will also be concluded same day while a Thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the same venue.
Ms Egwuagu died in the United States of America on March 28, 2023 where she was taking treatment for cancer.
Chinwe Egwuagu an alumnae of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, was known for her movies: Mr & Mrs (2012), Mr & Mrs: Chapter Two (2017) and Ayaka (2016).
