Billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Annie Okonkwo is dead.
The Ojoto, Anambra State-born Annie Okonkwo reportedly died in a United States of America hospital.
According to the story, he was “recovering after taking proper treatment in the United States of America but relapsed a few days ago and died.”
Senator Annie Okonkwo who was chairman of Clemco group of companies, has been battling illness for some years now.
The politician who who celebrated his 63 years birthday on 23 May 2023, reportedly died on Wednesday.
Sen. Annie Okonkwo represented Anambra Central Senatorial district in Anambra State from 2007 to 2011 under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. His son, Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, is the House of Representatives Member-elect for Idemili North and Idemili South Federal Constituencies, Anambra State under the Labour Party, LP.
