The Department of State Service (DSS) has arrested the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr. Godwin Emefiele. He was arrested by DSS on Friday night shortly after President Bola Tinubu suspended him from office. Tinubu said he suspended Emefiele due to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the economy.
