Former Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, AIG Hakeem Odumosu, rtd., has dismissed the story that he was yesterday, appointed by President Tinubu to replace the embattled AbdulRasheed Bawa as chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The retired AIG of police, said the information was totally untrue and must have emanated from Mischief Makers and should be totally disregarded.
In a message posted on his social media handles on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, Odumosu wrote,
“Good Morning everyone, I have been inundated with so many calls and messages between yesterday and today on a purported “EFCC Appointment”. I just want to use this opportunity to debunk this information and say it’s totally untrue.
This information must have emanated from Mischief Makers and should be totally disregarded.
