Japan has qualified for the Quarter Finals of the FIFA Women’s World cup ongoing in New Zealand and Australia.
Japan beat Norway 3-1 in the Round of 16, to book the spot on Saturday.
Earlier on, Spain became the first to qualify for the Q-Finals after they defeated Switzerland, 5-1.
Three African teams, Nigeria, South Africa and Morocco are battling in the Round of 16 for Q-Final tickets.
South Africa will begin the quest when they play The Netherlands on Sunday morning. Nigeria will face England on Monday while Morocco will face France on Tuesday.
