PRESIDENT TINUBU ALLOCATES MINISTRIES: DELE ALAKE GETS FMR. KINSMAN FAYEMI’S JOB, LOKPOBIRI SUCCEEDS SYLVA

President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday allocated portfolio to his ministerial nominees.

The list was announced to journalists by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

According to the list, Mr. Dele Alake is the Minister of Solid Minerals, a position held by former Gov. Kayode Fayemi, Alake’s Ekiti kinsman under the Buhari regime.

Similarly, Hon. Heneiken Lokpobiri inherited the minister of state for petroleum portfolio formerly held by his Bayelsa kinsman, Chief Timipre Sylva.

However, Lokpobiri’s petroleum ministry is not the same with Sylva’s as President Tinubu has divided the ministry, carving out a separate ministry for Gas Resources.

Former governors of Rivers and Ebonyi states, Nyesom Wike and Dave Umahi, were also designated as ministers of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and Minister of Works, respectively.
