The remains of veteran musician, Chris Mba of the ‘Baby Don’t Cry’ fame, has been buried.
Chris Mba was buried on Friday in his village of Umuhuaba, Obingwa Local Government Area, Abia State.
Prominent among those at the burial, was popular musician and Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Tourism and Entertainment, Mr. J-Martins as well as a delegation of the Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON.
The COSON delegation was made up of members of it’s board of directors including, Sir Angus Nwangwu, Chief Tony Okoroji(chairman) and Chief Uche Emeka Paul.
Chris Mba’s funeral rites, began with a Special Red Carpet Tribute Night hosted to celebrate his life and times by COSON in Ikeja, Lagos on Friday, 18th August, 2023.
Chris Mba who died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital on 3rd May, 2023, is survived by his widow Ada Chris Mba, and four children, Unique, Onyi, Naomi and Favour.
