Two-time CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba Football Club of Aba, has crashed out of the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League.
The peoples’ Elephant was bundled out of the preliminary round elimination at a match played on Sunday at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba against Libya’s Al Ahli Benghazi.
Enyimba needed to win the match and at least score a goal without conceding after suffering a 4-3 defeat in the first leg last weekend.
The Finidi George-led side who are nine-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions could not score at full time.
