NIGERIAN FILM CORPORATION PRESENTS CORPORATE BRIEF TO MINISTER OF CREATIVE ECONOMY, HANNATU MUSAWA

The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC), led by Dr. Chidia Maduekwe, it’s Managing Director/Chief Executive, on Thursday, presented a Corporate Brief to the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa in Abuja.

The presentation which had the Honourable Minister along with other high level and principal officers of her office had as some it’s highlights, plea for More Funding for the Film Sector including revisiting the establishment of the National Film Development Fund.

Other highlights include: 1. The Law/Act of NFC, 2. Practitioners Council, 3. More International Co-production Agreements, 4. Training and Capacity Building access for &  by filmmakers, 5. Seamless & world class content creation, and effective distribution and exhibition channels, 6. Cultural Heritage protection and preservation, 7. Making the film sector/industry as the centrepiece of destination 2030 and 9. Government increased support and assistance for domestic & offshore film industry events and programs and many more.

In her response, the Honourable Minister among others, assured of her determination to effect positive turnarounds in the film sector within the shortest possible time.
