PETER OBI, WIKE, OTTI, FUBARA, IKPEAZU, OTHERS ATTEND SEN. OHUABUNWA’S WIFE’S BURIAL IN AROCHUKWU

Prominent Nigerian politicians gathered in Arochukwu on Saturday, as the remains of late Lady Nimi Ohuabunwa, wife of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa was buried.

Late Lady Nimi, who died at the age of 61, on July 22, 2023 was laid to rest in Arochukwu after a funeral service at the Anglican Communion Arochukwu, led by the Primate of Anglican Church Nigeria, the Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba.

Dignitaries who attended the burial include the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti, Rivers State governor, Mr.  Siminalayi Fubara, former governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu.

Also in attendance were: Minister of State, (Oil) for Petroleum Resources, Heineken Lokpobiri; Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe; Senate Chris Anyanwu; Senator Emma Nwaka; and former Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu.

Others include the Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr Okey Emuchay; former Nigeria Ambassador to Argentina, Chief Empire Kanu; former Secretary to State Government, Abia State, Dr Eme Okoro,  former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abia State, Chief Tony Ukasanya, Chief Chikwe Udensi, Chief David Onuoha Ogba (Bodex), Chief Chris Igwe, Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe, Hon. Chukwudi Apugo and Hon. Luke Okara, among others.
