In the petition, the late singer alleged that Sam Larry and 15 others stormed a video shoot where he (MohBad) and another artiste, Zlatan Ibile, were working, armed, and threatening to wreak havoc.
He narrated that they ended up destroying equipment worth over N5 million at the scene, and assaulted him but he narrowly escaped with injuries.

But the Elegushi royal family in a swift reaction, denied any ties or connection with Sam Larry.
In a statement same Thursday, the Elegushi Royal Family of Eti-Osa absolved the Oba of any ties with Sam Larry.
In their statement, they noted that “Samson Balogun is not a member of the royal family and does not work for the royal family or king in any capacity. Like other celebrities, politicians, religious and community leaders, he visits the palace to pay homage to the king and seek royal blessings just like other members of the public.”
The royal family also called for a thorough investigation into circumstances surrounding the death the musician.
