The Association of Digital Media Core Advocates (ADMCA) has announced November 5, 2023 as the date for the Anambra Media Excellence Conference & Awards AMEA Awards.
The Anambra Media Excellence Conference & Awards was instituted since 2019 to honour Anambra journalists and media that defy every obstacle to tirelessly ensure independent press coverages.
ADMCA in a statement last week, has invited nominations of independent journalists, Internet media and electronic media for the Awards scheduled to hold at Awka.
Themed “Media and Youth Empowerment,” ADMCA said Nominations will be accepted until October 20, 2023, and should include an explanation of why the nominees, the journalist or media outlet is considered to be a good candidate for the Anambra Media Excellence Awards.
The nomination statements ADMCA stated, should not be more than one page long, and should include a short biography and links to articles, where relevant.
The statement also said some of the categories for the 5th edition AMEA will include among others;
A. Best Use of Social Media Award
B. Radio Station of the Year Award
C. Media Personality of the Year Award
E. Anambra Journalist of the Year Award
F. Media Aide of the Year
G. Outstanding Social Media Influencer of the Year
H. On Air Personality of the Year (Radio)
