The Abia State election petition tribunal sitting in Umuahia, on Friday, dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and it’s candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe against the declaration of Dr. Alex Otti as winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship election.
In a unanimous judgement, the three member panel led by Justice H.T.D. Gwadah, dismissed the petition for lacking merit and affirmed Otti as the duly elected governor of Abia State.
