The Super Falcons of Nigeria, have reached the third round of the football qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics, beating their opponents–the Lucy of Ethiopia on a 5-1 aggregate.
Super Falcons spanked their Ethiopian counterparts 4-0 in the second leg of the second round of the women’s football qualifiers at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.
The Nigerian team had on Wednesday last week, played a 1-1 draw against the Ethiopians at the Abebe Bikila Stadium, Addis Ababa.
The Super Falcons will now face long time rivals Cameroon in the final qualifiers for Paris 2024 games. Cameroon beat Uganda 3-2 on aggregate to set up the battle for the Olympics ticket.
