IKPEAZU HOSTS SDA WORLD PRESIDENT, PASTOR TED WILSON IN HIS UMUOBIAKWA HOME

Former governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie  on Wednesday, played host to the World President of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church, Pastor Ted Wilson, and a delegation from the General Conference of the Church, at his country home in Umuobiakwa, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

Pastor Ted, his wife Nancy Wilson, and Dr. Paul H. Douglas, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Seventh-day Adventist Church World Headquarters are among the World Leaders of the Church who are in Aba, for a 5-day program to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Eastern Nigeria.

Also in the entourage, was Pastor Bassey Udoh, the President of the Church in Eastern Nigeria who lead several others to Dr. Ikoeazu’s home in Umuobiakwa.

Pastor Udoh used the occasion to appreciate Dr. Ikpeazu for his support to the Church in Union, while Pastor Wilson, on behalf of the World Church,  congratulated Dr. Ikpeazu, an Elder of the church, who is also the first member of the Church to be elected Governor of a state.

The SDA World President had on Monday, visited Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State in Uyo.
