Passengers were in shock on Sunday, after their flight heading from Lagos to Abuja mistakenly landed in Asaba.
One of the passengers, a former media aide to Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Salihu ‘Dawisu’ Tanko Yakasai, shared the story on his X handle.
Yakasai wrote; “Nigeria my country. We departed Lagos about an hour ago on @flyunitedng to Abuja, and upon arrival, the cabin crew confidently announced that we’ve arrived Abuja, only for us to realize that we landed in Asaba. Apparently, our pilot was given wrong flight plan from Lagos.”
The passengers said their apprehension was dissolved when the pilot later informed the then that the mistake was caused by a mix-up in the flight plan given to him.
