RIVERS POLITICAL CRISIS: FUBARA COPIES WIKE’S STYLE, UNVEILS OWN LIVE BAND

As the political crisis in Rivers State deepens, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, has added an entertainment aspect to the ‘show’ with the unveiling of his own live band.

Recall that Fubara’s godfather and predecessor, Chief Nyesom Wike who is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, had as side attraction, a live band that followed him to public functions in his days as governor.

Also recall that Wike’s live band churned out remixes of popular songs like “As e dey sweet us, e dey pain them,” as well as “Pepper dem, Wike pepper dem o” aimed at shading his political opponents.

Right now, Governor Sim Fubara, has acquired his own band and they launched out at a function on Friday. The event, was the flag-off a housing project.

The band’s debut song “Dey your dey, make I dey my dey. Make nobody worry anybody”, caused a stir at the event as everyone noticed it was a direct attack on Wike, who is currently at war with Governor Fubara.
