The management of Coal City Film Festival, an International Film Festival resident in Enugu State, have announced the dates for the 4th edition of the film event.
A statement signed by Uche Agbo, Founder/Executive Director, Coal City Film Festival, said this year’s film festival is billed to take place from 21 – 23 March 2024, with the theme “Cultural Renaissance.”
Agbo stated: “Like the previous three years, this 4th edition programs will include Master Classes, Panel Discussions, Movie Screenings, Parties, City Tour, Palm Wine and Bush Meat Roundtable, Award and Fun Night, Fashion Show as well as South East Entertainment and Media Night.”
According to him, the festival, will explore the ways and means of exporting, merchandizing and marketing culture and the integral role film plays in building a digital and societal culture. It’s a great opportunity to improve the conversation around cultural sustainability and cultural diversity in an ever evolving and culture-threatened society.
The Coal City Film Festival is perhaps the biggest cultural gathering in the South East Nigeria in the past few years.
