Founding member and former leader of the Oriental Brothers International Band, Chief Godwin Opara, popularly known as ‘Kabaka’, is dead.
Kabaka reportedly died in his hometown in Imo State at about 3pm on Thursday.
Oriental Brothers International Band Band made of Dansatch, late Sir Warrior. Ichita and Kabaka was unarguably the biggest Highlife band to have come out of the South East in the 70s and 80s with the band churning out several hits.
The Band later broke up with Kabaka, Dansach and Sir Warrior leading their own factions.
