VETERAN THEATRE DIRECTOR, WOLE OGUNTOKUN DIES IN CANADA

Playwright, theatre director and veteran thespian, Wole Oguntokun is dead. Oguntokun reportedly died in Canada on Wednesday after a brief illness. Oguntokun who has been a major figure in contemporary Nigerian theater for over 15 years, is the artistic director of the Renegade Theatre. Jis works include directing a Yoruba version of The Winter’s Tale in London’s Globe theater as part of the Shakespeare Olympiad.
