The Deputy Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Soyannwo, is dead.
Soyannwo was on Wednesday, reported to have died after a brief illness. He was aged 55.
Details surrounding Soyannwo’s illness and death have not been disclosed as at this time of going to press.
Soyannwo, was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff in 2019.
Governor Sanwo-Olu has expressed his deep sorrow over the loss, describing Soyannwo as a loyal and hardworking member of his team. The Governor has also extended his sympathies to Soyannwo’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
