The funeral rites for late Nollywood screen playwright, producer and director, Reginald Onyenso Jamike Ebere, begins today, Thursday July 4th, 2024 in Lagos.
According to the programme released by his family, a service of song and wake-keep will be held in his honour by 4pm on July 4, 2024, at the Surulere Local Government Area, Onilegogoro, Surulere, Lagos State.
Another wake keep is expected to hold on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in his homestead at Silas Echewodo Ebere’s compound, Okpuala, Umuomaincha, Mbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State.
The next day, Thursday July 11, 2024, his remains would be laid to rest at the same venue after a funeral service.
Reginald Ebere, died on Sunday May 26, 2024, in Lagos, after a protracted illness. He was aged 57 years.
