Three years after his death in the United Kingdom, the remains of elder statesman and former Senate President, Dr. Joseph Wayas has arrived Nigeria.
The body arrived Abuja from Heathrow Airport London UK on board British Airways BA O83 at 4.40am on Wednesday.
It will be recalled that the burial of the late elder statesman was put on hold over some family wrangling until the socio political group, Who’s Who Forum of Northern Cross River waded into the matter last year.
The group has also finalised plans to give the late Wayas a befitting burial and bring the avoidable endless squabbles over his burial to final closure.
Dr. Wayas died on November 2021 in London, United Kingdom.
