Popular Nollywood actor Ayo Emmanuel, is dead.
The actor who is popular for interpreting roles as a police officer, reportedly died after battling prostate cancer at Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital in Abuja on Wednesday morning.
His death was announced in a post by the Actors Guild of Nigeria social media handle on Wednesday. It read, “AGN Mourns Again”
“We regret to announce the passing of our beloved Uncle, Brother and Father Mr Ayo Emmanuel (Nollywood Police Man), he passed this morning. Other information will be duly communicated.”
The popular Nollywood movies policeman was recently admitted at a Garki Hospital but was referred to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital when the ailment escalated.
