Ambassadors of 13 countries have indicated their interest to to attend the African Cultural Fashion Exhibition and Awards in Abuja, Nigeria.
The event which is put together by the National Council for Arts and Culture, in collaboration with Africulfash™, RealA Ltd and African Artist for Peace Initiative (AAPI). celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Africa through fashion, arts, and creativity.
According to Ambassador Judith Shu’aibu, who is the event coordinator on behalf of the ACFA organizing Committee 2024, countries who have expressed their intention to participate include Ethiopia, Morocco, Tunisia, China, Russia, Angola, Kenya, Italy, Tanzania, Zambia, Egypt, Gabon and Cote d’ Ivoire.
The event which is expected to hold on Sunday, December 1st in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, will recognize and reward outstanding individuals and organizations making significant contributions to Africa’s cultural development, particularly in the areas of fashion, arts, and entrepreneurship. It is also expected to promote unity, excellence, transparency, and accountability in governance, while fostering economic growth and development.
