Nigeria’s under 17 female football team, The Flamingos on Thursday, battered their Niger opponents 9-0 in the opening match of the WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup.
The Flamingos midfielder Shakirat Moshood easily became the highest goal scorer of the tournament when she banged in four goals in the opening match.
The maiden edition of WAFU-B U17 Girls Cup is currently ongoing in Ghana.
