Super Eagles of Nigeria and Atalanta FC star, Ademola Lookman was named the African Player of the Year at the Confederation of African Football Awards, 2024, held in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday.
Lookman who succeeds fellow Nigerian, Victor Osimhen as Africa’s best, was instrumental in both his clubโs success in Serie A and Nigeriaโs qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The event which saw Nigeriaโs Super Falcons emerging the Best Womenโs team in Africa and Chiamaka Nnadozie picking the Best Goal Keeper award, crowned Zambian star, ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ as the Womenโs Player of the Year.
