Nigerian Film Corporation’s Managing Director/Chief Executive, Dr. Ali Nuhu has once more reiterated the resolve of the agency to effectively deliver on its mandate of developing Nigeria’s film industry.
Dr. Nuhu made this public at the welcome reception event organized by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Northern Filmmakers Association of Nigeria (NFAN) and the Radio Television Theatre and Art Works Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), NFC chapter, which took place on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 at the Auditorium of the National Film Institute, Jos, Plateau State.



NFC, under his leadership, he said will not only sustain its present efforts of its impactful offerings, but will also be embarking on already identified innovative film development projects and programme initiatives.
While commending the organisers and several others guests for turning up for the event, Dr. Nuhu called for the continuous support, sustained partnership and collaboration by relevant stakeholders, which he averred are critical enablers for NFC’s seamless journey towards elevating the global competitiveness of Nigeria’s film industry.
Heads Media/Broadcast organisations (PRTVC, NTA, Highland FM) in Plateau State and representatives of the National President of Radio Television Theatre and Art Works Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Northern Filmmakers Association of Nigeria (NFAN) and the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), were present at the event. Highpoint of the event was the unveiling and public presentation of the picture portrait of Dr. Ali Nuhu, as well as the spectacular cultural dance presentation by the Plateau State Cultural Troupe.
