The management of Ojez Entertainment Group has taken delivery of a luxurious Toyota Venza, fulfilling a pledge made by renowned comedian Ali Baba to the Ojez Visually Impaired Band. This follows their acclaimed performance at the annual Spontaneity concert held in Lagos on January 1st.
Effiong Nyong, representing Mr. Joseph Odobeatu, Chairman of Ojez Entertainment Group, confirmed the reception of the vehicle from Queen Morati, representative of the Ali Baba office. “We have taken delivery of the car pledged by Ali Baba, fulfilling his promise to the Ojez Visually Impaired Band for their outstanding performance,” Nyong stated.
While the vehicle has been received, a formal presentation to the band members will be announced at a later date. Details regarding the official handover ceremony are forthcoming.
Ali Baba’s pledge was made in recognition of the band’s “superlative performance” at the Spontaneity concert. Notably, the band’s invitation to perform stemmed from their prior appearance at the monthly Ojez Forum, where Ali Baba was honored for his work. The delivery of the vehicle marks the fulfillment of that promise and highlights the comedian’s commitment to supporting the band’s talent and dedication.
