Massive support continues to pour in for “COSON IN THE CHURCH”, the big National Day of Prayer in Nigeria, scheduled to be beamed to millions of Nigerians from the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa Ikeja on May 25, 2025.
In a letter just received by the Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Chief Tony Okoroji, from the National Service Center (NSC) of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria (CCRN), which letter was signed by CCRN’s National Coordinator, Bro Uche Manu (KSJI), CCRN wrote: “In CCRN, we strongly believe in what God can do through prayers, praise and worship of his people. We therefore wholeheartedly, endorse the program, “COSON in the Church” – A National Day of Prayer, scheduled to hold on Sunday May 25th 2025.
“We are fully in support of you, believing and trusting that God will hear our prayers and turn his gracious face to our country so that NIGERIA WILL RISE AGAIN.”
As has already been made public, at 4.00pm on May 25, Chapel of Christ the Light in Ikeja, will be the epicenter of the National Day of Prayer from which the songs and praise of Nigeria’s topmost gospel singers and ministers of the gospel, will be beamed to millions of citizens, in towns and villages across Nigeria and across the world. Nigerians will be linked by an unprecedented mix of simultaneous broadcast, streaming and videocasting, deploying various communication technologies, so that in one voice, the diverse people of Nigeria, wherever they are, can join in supplication, to seek the face of the Almighty, to give the Nigerian nation a new lease of life, and restore optimism to Nigeria’s children.
“COSON in the Church”, which holds on Sunday May 25, will be the first of the seven superlative events, across Lagos, of the much-advertised master-blaster “COSON Week 2025”, spearheaded by members of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organization. Every event of COSON Week 2025 is propelled by the mantra, “NIGERIA WILL RISE AGAIN!”
Other massive events of the COSON Week already announced, include “The 2025 COSON Lecture”, to take place at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island on May 26 at which erudite lawyer and top political player, Babatunde Ogala SAN will be addressing the critical subject, “The Political & Legal Environment Necessary for the Continued Growth of the Nigerian Creative Industry”.
“Children’s Day at COSON House” will be holding at the magnificent COSON House in Ikeja on May 27 and Nigeria’s children will be entertained, schooled, and welcomed into the world of Intellectual Property.
On May 28, the city of Lagos will for the first time, experience an unprecedented 24 hours non-stop music concert, “The COSON Mega Jamz” at Freedom Park Lagos.
“COSON in the Mosque” will take place, at Lagos Central Mosque, Carter Street, Ebute Metta on May 30.
Of course, in the evening of the same May 30, the super-exclusive “COSON Green Ball” will take place and 150 of Nigeria’s most influential persons and their spouses will be given a treat of a life time, as Nigeria’s crème de la crème walk the green carpet at MUSON Centre, Lagos.
The master organizer, former President of PMAN and Chairman of COSON, Chief Tony Okoroji, has assured everyone that starting from May 25, the National Day of Prayer, COSON Week 2025, in the city of Lagos, Nigeria’s entertainment capital, will be “stupendous”.
