The biggest and the undisputed most celebrated youth event in Nigeria, the 15th young achievers Nigeria awards will hold on the 20th April at Ibis Ikeja Hotel.
The annual event which is a gathering of uncommon young Nigerians who have broken the ceilings of limitations to excel in their various fields is to celebrate and encourage young Nigerians who have excelled through the dint of hardwork.


The key note speaker at this year’s event is Ambassador Seyi Tinubu, special guest speakers include; Dr.Ayo Aderinwale, Chairman of Just rite retail stores, Jide Adediran, the former guber candidate of PDP in Lagos, Fiona Ahimi Ahmed, CEO/MD FBN Quest securities, Dr. Alex Nwuba, Aviation expert and investor, Chief Niyi Babade, international media mogul and entrepreneur.
According to a release signed by the publisher and convener of the award Mr Adeduntan Ibrahim Yinka, he said ‘Despite the leadership and economic challenges facing our dear country, some outstanding Nigerian youths have been able to put Nigeria on the global map because they exhibit qualities that people look for in leadership which includes: Honesty, Competence, progress, intelligence and inspiration.”
He further stated that some of the nominees to be honoured this year include: Olanike Nafisat Balogun who started her career as a cabin crew member and rose to become the first female pilot in the Nigerian Custom Service; Flight Lieutenant Kafayat Sanni, the first female fighter pilot in the Nigerian Air Force, Mariam Oludamilola who made history by emerging as the best graduate in the faculty of Dental sciences, College of Medicine, Unilag and Abubakar ai-ihsan Muhammad who graduated with a remarkable CGPA 4.95 from Ahmadu Bello University as the best graduating student.
Others include: Taiwo Shittu, the youngest automotive MD in Nigeria, Kola Oladejo, the young entrepreneur with a Midas touch, Ayo Alabi,the first class graduate setting the pace as a young manager in the private sector and Aisha Mohammed, the youth development coach and enlightenment manager at EFCC, among others.
